Curated by Selen Ansen, Arter’s Performance Programme continues with the dance piece Data Shadow by Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası, as part of the programme’s second section titled Participation.
 
Data Shadow inquires the relationship between dance and memory by inviting the audience to experience dance as the performance of memory. Taking its cue from personal memories and setting the collective memory of dance into motion, the choreography created by Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası brings on stage the recording and the transmission of dance from the past to the future while drawing attention to the transience of every movement made. Contemplating on dance as an artistic discipline which is impossible to conserve in its entirety due to its transient character, Çıplak Ayaklar Kumpanyası imagines the possibility for multiple memories and moments which exist independently to constitute part of a single narrative in the future.
